You can attend one of our taster sessions in person and meet our teachers face to face with other potential participants in a group session.

The Taster session lasts for two hours and also counts as the first week of the eight week course. You can either book for the whole eight week course beforehand or just book for the Taster session, with the option of booking that evening for the rest of the course.

Tasters are open to everyone interested in mindfulness. We offer these sessions mainly in Edinburgh and Glasgow. We can also arrange to hold taster sessions at your workplace on invitation.

For all participants intending to train in mindfulness we have found it essential;

  1. to explore what mindfulness is and isn’t,

  2. how mindfulness works and the benefits of training,

  3. to raise awareness about mindfulness-based approaches,

  4. to orientate participants as to what the course offers and demands,

  5. for you to assess the expectations of the course and its suitability at this point in your life.

“Come, come, Whoever you are.

Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter.

Ours is not a caravan of despair.

Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times.

Come, yet again, Come, Come.”

– Rumi (Sufi Poet)
